Description: The home of the Future competition to design a zero carbon house and redefine the family home.

The home of the future is based around the concept that a large surface area will have larger heat lose acting over it than a smaller surface area. The form was therefore developed much like animals move their bodies when they curl up to keep warm, producing a structure that is two stories with an organic shaped skin that warps round the building, avoiding functionless spaces that also have environmental issues associated with them.
